Next Generation Embassy strives to achieve various objectives to recover and rewild our planet. The presented solutions put forward our ideal future #borntorewild.
One of the objectives we want to achieve is shaping European Union laws and policies. The strongest influence to bring change lays in the hands of European governance. For that reason, we aspire to start a citizen's initiative where your signature can make a difference for the next generation.
The agricultural sector - which occupies half of our habitable lands - contributes greatly to increased greenhouse gas emissions. Renewable energy, such as solar panels and wind turbines, minimises the use of petroleum-based fertilisers and other chemical substances, which in time will restore the polluted air.
As the cutting down of trees contributes to more CO2 emissions, the planting of new forests (afforestation), and restoring current forests (reforestation) will be a solution to the recovery of our planet.
Nowadays, it is impossible to find our water sources (e.g. oceans, seas) without micro-plastics. Reducing our single-use plastic consumption by using reusable products is a long-term solution with great impact on our future.
Make sure to try a different challenge every week and don't forget to tag us on our socials!

The consumption of meat, and animal cruelty along with it, has increased five-fold since the 1960s.
2500 gallons of water are needed to
produce one pound of meat, while a pound of wheat only requires 25 gallons of water. Try not to eat meat for a week and replace it with lots of grains, fruits and veggies. The animals will thank you :)!
Try something new this week and go thrift shopping. Fast fashion stores are one of the most polluting industries as they use around 1.5 trillion litres of water every year. When you go thrift shopping, you simply reuse clothes.
In Europe, passenger cars account for about 60% of total road transport CO2 emissions. Instead of taking the car, try going to school, or work, by bike, train or walking. This not only improves the environmental impact
that CO2 emissions have on our planet, but it will also enhance your health.
Take a moment and look around you when walking down the street. Do you notice something? If you look close enough, you'll see that a lot of garbage ends up in our landfills. So, next time you notice a plastic item lying around, do the nature a favour, pick it up and throw it away.
Going waste free is easier than you might think. Instead of buying meals and drinks packaged in plastics, reusable cutlery, water bottles and food containers are a much more sustainable and accessible choice.
Books, documentaries, podcasts or news outlets. Try to read, watch or listen something new this week and share your environmental knowledge with your friends, your teachers or your family.
